Aromas of tangerine, mango, and honeysuckle. Spiced green apple, and gingersnap cookie on the palate. Pair with crispy oyster bites in spicy aioli with mango-poblano pico, or four-cheese Margherita pizza.
Viognier has its origins in the Rhone Valley in France. Like Chardonnay, Viognier can produce wines that are lush and soft in character. Viognier has a range of natural aromatics that include notes of peach, pear, violets, and minerality. The grape requires a little extra viticultural attention, along with warm days and cool evenings, to release its’ potential quality.
